The New Normal World - Part 5

Recovery Movement Control since 4 May -

2nd month has passed now. Government has encouraged Malaysians to spend locally to help the dying economy back to its feet. All sectors have slowly resumed businesses, with many promotions and discounts everywhere pops up online and emails. I haven't been to malls in the weekends but I assumed shoppers are taking chance to grab on sales.

While business in company resumes with much positive and promising deals, we the employees are gotten overworked from another dimension. Just recently, our boss wanted a backlog from us and expecting our extra time to work on his projects even in the weekends.. to which I really against it but none of us have the power to voice against his way of achieving his goals and advantage of this New Normal.. For us, it's just not fair, an agreement business hour 9.30am - 6pm, (previously 9.30am-6.30am) not all of us especially marketing and designers can leave on time,  and all those comfort words he spoke to us about exercise, enough sleep and work life balance is shit talks. Now he doubts us for nothing finishing work on his own short schedule (instead of marketing's given schedule), we are forced to write down every completion task as daily report. Not all designs can be done in one day, not all ideas can pop up like fish jumps out from an ice hole.

25 July 2020, Saturday
Social distancing in the public transportation by my observation, is no longer practicing at all. Although bus drivers only allow 25 max passenger, train isn't likely controlling in any bit, as people are more worry to miss the train than getting COVID-19. Mask wearing is compulsory in public transport and crowded places.

Roads are back to its rush hour jam period, now schools for certain grades and universities are open, and you see kids roaming in the busy malls, screaming. It's something I started getting sensitive about child scream 5 months after. Bye bye blue sky..

New clusters are discovered every week, and cases are increasing about 20 a day., but people are more concerned about job, with tax and bills in debt.

I'm working from 9.30am to 7.30 or 8.30pm every working day, reaching room would be 9.30pm-10pm, tired to the point of forgetting to send mom texts occasionally, she suddenly said she missed hearing my voice...
