Gundam Exia (RG)

24th September 2014, Wednesday

One hand will not clap, so as One Gundam wouldn't stand out without another partner.

So I decided to search another comrade and went to look into the rack. What caught me an eye was this Gundam has exceptionally stand out broadsword, twin blades and different shape of shield compared to others.

Gundam Exia.

Fascinating and catching eyes just by the cool looking robot ~

This buddy took me separate days to a week time to finish due to the previous of nonstop 6-7 hours sleep time experience... of course it wouldn't not feel enjoyable.

This model is a RG, Excitement Embodied. So it has a set of robot skeleton parts.

This is skeleton leg

I don't own any Gundam tool kits, this is one of the basic to have to cut out the parts. That's the complete right leg.

With just one leg, has more than 30 pieces of parts to construct one robotic leg.

The body (Front)

The Body (Side)

The Arms, well... made little mistake and wrong cut but not a bit matter.

This is how the inner construct head look, applied with green stickers.

The fully construct head. Awesome

Gundam complete.

Armor Heroes welcome the new member, Gundam Exia into the familly.
(Right) Aero's son, Gundam Exia. My make up family tree XD

** Pat Pat
Yeap, it's smaller than regular toy. I was surprised too for the first one to compare.

The emotional story part. The son hugs the father. The Uncle Mars watches.

The~~ E...

WAIT !! Still forgot something.
Absolutely right!

Constructing weapons

The twin blades, not twin though. Just a name I made.

The Shield inside and cover.

And lastly, the most excitement is this broadsword.

The weapon set done.

Gundam Exia

The broadsword is almost the same height of it.

Gundam Astray (Flight Unit)

23rd September 2014 (Tuesday)

Gundam Astray is my first ever model kit chosen from the rack full of Gundams. The first time I bought it on August 2014, I carry it like precious.

Inside the box, there's a guide book and packs of tiny pieces to build a complete, sturdy, flexible moving robot.

 Constructing both arms

Head, body and arms done. Working on the leg.

What triggers me to get a hold of this?

One day after lunch, I found myself plenty time to walk around, ToyRus is just nearby. Take a peek.

Browsing, browsing game boards, party masks and accessories, Legos, and owww.... Behold, the heaven rack of Gundams. I have zero knowledge about these awesome little toys, why is there so many almost same face but has own unique characteristics? If I am going to start one, which one should I choose? Well, pick the latest one? But wait... which are the most released ??? So... I don't know, yet I want to have one. Therefore.... let's pick the one I have an eye on and start browsing.

Of all the Gundams carry long shooting weapons as prime action, this one has Katana as prime, that's how I pull the cash willingly. It took me about 6-7 hours non-stop until fully construct to a toy figure, you don't know the feeling of construct and play if you don't try.

I had the entire working day dangling head with extreme sleepy. Will not do that ever again.

Astray in action flash off its katana. Cool.

I made up a story, with Mars as the father of Gundam Astray, and Aero is Mars younger brother. Yup, I had already decided the next Gundam model, of course it will be blue.
