Holiday break 2016

I'm flying back home on 28th April until 4th May to join the Borneo run, which is the only thing I'm looking forward to, at least I don't give a damn disappointment face... of myself... unless it's a coincidence meet.

I never have a successful meet with anyone, even I have a week time everytime I return to, and that's the truth...

Anyway, I probably update my next Borneo run.

Mid Valley City Charity Run 2016

24th April 2016, Sunday


A straight 7 days to Mid Valley Megamall.

I was so anxious this morning that I kept waking up every hour during sleep. It's my first time running marathon myself.

Mid Valley City Charity Run
5 kilometers
3 kilometers around the malls, 1 kilometer inside each mall.

 6.30am report in, I came 7.00am. Fewer trains move during weekends...

 I think I heard my name during the stage giving prize... but I was too far to reach to confirm myself. I probably missed a hamper or something.

I wonder why Angry Birds? Because the MC got tired of calling out lucky numbers come on stage to get their prizes ?? Well, more than 50 numbers, I'm not in luck though, or probably just passed.

Fun, myself

 Each finisher gets a medal, wet tissue, a small fruit cake and a redemption card.

 

This is the redemption card, for finishers to redeem their snack and drinks for free at the carnival. It's good that I can try various food that I never step foot in those restaurants or juice stations. It's Food Adventure.

This is the list of redeem food and drinks from these shops at the carnival and outlets. Man... that pizza, I can't say I like it, because it's abit too salty for me? But at least I tried, not bad too if you like saltiness, I prefer sweet pizzas.

It's a struggle for me after stopping real exercising for 10 years.

 

From empty to...

 FULLY REDEEMED. Of course, I shared the last few to my colleagues. I even gave out a starbuck coffee discount voucher to a shoe seller the previous night when I looking for a sport shoe for today's run and KK Borneo run.

Yea, I'm joining KK Borneo run this year after 4 years.

And so, I thought of going for exercise more at KLCC, I spot PLKN is here..... how great that is to have it outside the spotlight building... mine was is the camp....

Jungle Book Movie

I had previous donated RM100 to Little Yellow Flower Non-government Association to join with colleagues for movies today at 3.00pm.

THat's a large popcorn. Yea, it's good that I can non-stop eat for the entire movie show.

Jungle Book is what we watch. Before that, we were greeted by one of the founder LYF artistes, listening to a short speech and a few little representatives giving thanks.

In Jungle Book, I'm quite amazed by the size of those honeycombs that Mugli, the little boy hunts for the lazy bear, Baloo for.. hibernation in the jungle, of course not to forget Bagheera, the black panther who look after Mugli from Shere Khan the tiger. =w=

MV Charity Run 2016 - Preparation

I'm given the privilege to run for free as one of the company sponsors. I just received my Race-kit in the evening for the upcoming charity run to be held at 7.30am, Sunday.

The route is around Mid Valley and Garden Mall and inside mall. Total 5 km, and I also received discount & complimentary vouchers and a Runner's Guidebook. 

This is my second run outside home.

 However, I'm the only one staff joining Mid Valley Charity Run, somewhat a representative for both outlets for the run. None of them show any interest, some are working later in the day.

I run for myself.

Every childhood flowers

In the 80's, my generation still growing up in playgrounds with slowly emerging with 2nd generation handphones, Windows 95 computers and Learning type-writing CD, Floppy disk, Age of Empire and Star Craft PC games.

In the playground,

I used to pluck these little purple flowers, count it like a money and play barter trade game with brother and neighbours.

 I drink sugary liquid from these flowers when I started favouring the taste after the first try.

I even catch light blue butterflies, sometimes I accidentally broke its wings in the hunting process. and find dead fresh insects like grasshopper, making fireplace from matchstick and played 'Barbeque' Those was the cruelest time I had been until I understand what's 'pain' is about as I aged.

A Painful one

12th April 2016, Tuesday

7.38pm -

It was my 13th time donating blood. The staff could not find the blood nerve or whatever it's called, it hurts. He kept adjusting the needle when the blood didn't flow well which I never experience before.

I know he's doing his job, but over forcing would hurt a donor as well

It took me more than a week and still recovering.

The little Highway

Based on the title, Highway is a name I gave to a little creature.

I was going to be late after the previous night party went wee hours. I arrived at destinated Lrt at 10.07am, I thought I missed the shuttle bus to Mid Valley, so I had decided to walk the distance off.

As I saw that shuttle bus ride pass my vision, this little dark fur immediately caught my eyes on the side highway road. Its wind-blowing rolling body fur stays only a foot away from busy cars, motorcycles and lorries!

All my mind think is blank, I held it on left arm. Its body still warm (alive, well.. I have no time to check on its status or even its face.) I think nothing but carried it along with me for another 100meter walking distance to the mall. It didn't move much or meowing, like it was over-exhausting or given up its life.

As soon I reached the safety, I checked on it. Highway's right eye was red, mostly caused by the dust from cars. It must have been abandoned quite some time from where I picked up. I took it to the washroom just to rinse and dry it, it finally started meowing and holding on me, now that looks like a koala, and my left arm looks like a tree trunk. =w=.... what should I do. ?! PETS NOT ALLOWED IN THE MALL .!!!

WAit ! I know a place, Pets Wonderland.

About 1.5 week old?
Size? Like a 2-3 sizes of tennis balls?

Basically, I'm not experienced in keeping pet, those pets at home were all taken cared by parents. The staffs could not keep Highway as it was not vaccinated from the rules of company but they offered to help me to find a keeper.

And before that... Thanks to Pets Wonderland's staffs, they helped her checked, cleaned and fed.

 I also help to find a keeper as soon as possible. One of my colleagues took it in, and named it Tika on the same day.

My arms are precious, they saves a little purr--y today.

UPDATE : Few days later,
Now Highway is getting more actively and energetic exploring its adventure =w=

Fortunate ?

Gas explosion in Mid Valley Megamall on News

I usually take breakfast in my rented room before going to work, but today I was reluctant to do so. It was early 9.45am when I was heading to office after buying breakfast from the LG floor heading North where LG Mc Donald locates.

I smelled something strong melting. Gas? Metal parts? Some working tenants nearby started talking about it. I made my turn to the lift section before Mc Donald, that's how I avoided the gas explosion.

The first thing I know was an email received from Mid Valley Management about noon, which you can read from the link above. Many focused on the Chilis' Restaurant because it started there, and it's more severed.

The next thing is, my mom called me, my colleagues texted me. Very thanks.. I'm fine.. fortunately..

 

 

Police cars and fire engines were busy on the narrow road, working on clearing debris and keeping safety.

After that busy whole day, I was invited to Red Box for celebrating a colleague's birthday (not exact date) and colleague's farewell party,

 How long have I not been touching these ? The one bite cake pieces. It may not better than Secret Recipe or Lavender or BreadStory or Komugi or whatever, it somewhat satisfies me of taste of sponge, banana, mango and chocolatey.

 For the whole 5 hours, I sang only two of my selected songs. I rest, I followed the vocals.

I may heard a lot of those songs, old songs but never actually sings them, these people here are "old" enough to memorize and imitate the vocals' voice which is extraordinary, especially the lady on the white grey stripe blouse.

Thank you for sending me back late midnight, it's 30 minutes car ride from Mid Valley.

Update about Myself

Mixing with gossiping people, makes myself gossip-whine, mostly about bad things.. I couldn't keep myself longer from silent in front of my colleagues, I started whining about how I hate bosses' personal works, and crossing red lines of demands, and taking colleagues' shit jobs.

And here again, I write negative post.... how sad that is of what I have become...

Gossip-whine can turns habit-forming. No, it's not about sharing is caring here, it's totally different, it's negative and most importantly... it spreads...violently...

This made my heart and mind not calm-thinking..
