A worried Semester

New lecturer teaches me two subjects this semester. Graduated from Labuan university, course Multimedia technology course.

3D animation is originally taught by Mr. Leo Jan but unluckily for me that he was transferred to Kuching Cosmopoint branch last year Christmas, and thus immediate replaced + in-charged by Ms. Faraha. ai ai ai....... one sentence to describe this situation, 惨啦～～！！

Ms.Faraha, whom she taught me Adobe Photoshop on Semester 2. She's one of the lecturer who gave me the most pressure in her class:

1. She gave me many bad comments on my first artwork in front of the class.

2. She questioned my artwork the most but others, she questioned the least and let them pass easily. 

3. She denied my pre-work assignment, reasoning I used easy techniques and effect, and try to use other different effects.  

4.  She gives me poor marks on my assignment works, I got D in her subject in the end....

So far, the 1st work I had impressed her the most is this. I'm happy to hear her very 1st true praise.

 (Although I still see some inaccurate image-placing)

Unfortunately, this never be considered as assignment for as topic is 'create a box office movie poster' (well, why can't I create my own new movie poster that nobody else has?), and want me to redo again...... and so I did, in order to pull back my lost marks.

But come to think of it, her pressure pushed me through about the skill level when I faced my final assignment. I'm grateful about this.

Hope Ms. Faraha doesn't give me more pressure in this Semester, and I don't want to get D in this subject.

Mostly is depends on how much knowledge they got in this subject, and how are they going to teach us, ohno... just basic again ? aargh... But still I have to trust their efforts and my strength to create better work.

Sad and Moved

Haiti Earthquake is ... haih... because it hits the main city, so many lives were taken, and 200,000 people lost homes. This earthquake severely destroyed hospital , PM palace, famous hotel, and collapsing many buildings.

A 240 years since a earthquake stroke, who would know tit will happen like that? Many are still waiting for treatments, and many are still trapped and missing......

Now I'm afraid that Mount Kinabalu might become a live volcano in the future, and the beautiful scenery of natures will all be swapped away by lavas.

Chinese New Year is coming soon, sadly I saw the news of Chinese teenagers drown practicing dragon boat. It's very sad they couldn't make it to the coming of CNY. I heard the Parents cried over the coffins, so as their classmates line-up mourning before the coffins. The scene is completely silent.... same goes to a young Chinese teacher.

My Old Buddies

As requested, here they are. oh come on, don't laugh or make any weird faces ! I know that !

All previewed pictures are taken few years ago. Below this is actually a Power Ranger toy I have here. (A Blue Ranger)

(Only superior has the aluminium armor set, that means just one)

What are those you say ? ahaa, it's obviously a set armor that I made for this dude. I wore contact-lens before, so I had collected those covers and aluminiums. These are old type one. The rest are half-set because I'm out of materials.

(I only had few set of these type)

These are wore by the Yellow Ranger as of present now (not in preview in image here). I made him greaves and helm only, it doesn't fit for body armor as the size of those contact-lens packets has been designed in much smaller.

 So far, I had made a set of assasin katar, 1 short 1 long broad sword, 1 long spear and 1 wooden stick. They are all made from ice-cream and satay sticks.

  My first made armor materials are chewing gum packs for boots, silver gloves and helm. While hard papers are for armor. (I cut them in shape folding it around the Green Ranger and bind the 'armor' with staple clips)

The one holding a 'shield' is actually the contact-lens cover. Before this, all shields are made of ice-cream stick too (my bro made first it). And the short wooden stick he was holding is actually a satay stick. I also used rubber band and  to tight the armor while copper sticks (you mostly can get from buying loaf of breads and electronic cables).

It's quite fun making them equips and weapons, but takes time to prepare.

Weird Neighbours

It's been 4 years now I moved to grandma's house.

Very uncomfortable as we have so many weird, crazy neighbours in the court.

There's a Chinese family live opposite the basketball court. Everyday, I can hear the siblings yelling and screaming, bullying each other. The most familiar voice is the shouting voice from their mother, then came out crying pitifully.

Block A, there's a aunty who I met during noon time when I 'm heading off to catch a bus outside. She always leading her young son back home. And one day on the park when jogging, I met her. 

She's really is aunty (talkative and busybody), asking me many questions and telling me "now days it's hard to get a job if you don't further studies," and saying I came from such wealthy school also waste my money if not further studying but out working so soon. From the conversation, there's a hidden message for me: She's looking down on me who can't do things with full confidence and firm decision.

Later on, we met again. This time, she asked me if I have free time, and want me to tutor her son's Malay subject. I told her frankly, I'm bad at teaching. But she seemed don't trust me, giving me a serious tune, it's like forcing people who's not capable in teaching to teach her son. It's really hard to get out of her chain. There's many other Chinese people in this small court, but why bother me to ?

Block B, mom complains alot about the 'Crying Princess' lives there. Really it's annoying because mom experienced before when she took care of my crying big brother when I'm not even born yet. She told me she always got headache when hearing big brother's crying voice.

A Malay or Kadazan dude bought a new bike, and thus the sound of  "broom broom !!" has born. =__= Acting so cool, cleaning and repair and upgrade his bike and testing it so loud even around midnight, just making people sick and angry. I called him Cazy Rempit. 

Block C (which is where we live), it's even crazier. it's like we are staying among the gorillas and chimpanzees' cave. EVERYDAY, you wouldn't feel calm but feel like very bad mood hearing banging doors which are their most unchangeable habits. not just banging doors that easily, there are more... punching, knocking, kicking doors, and eventually there's people outside the door crying SOO loud, yelling "let me in let me in!!", it's like they never have own spare keys to get in. Very frustrated.

There's a spoil, fat, Chinese kid lives upstairs. Everytime the family came back from town, the kid always stomps the stairs so hard, it's like there's a big rock tying under his shoes, yelling at his mother "妈！帮我开电脑 ！！" It's something so fucking easy to do that he even bothers his mother to do for him. aargh ! Just push the damn freaking "ON" button !!!

Next door is a Chinese family, the two elder children also study in Tshung Tsin. They have a hardworking father, but don't know if it's true or not lar. Sometimes, I can hear their father came home around 1am, I guess it's normal, as money is hard to earn to support the family.

During night or early morning, grandma told us that, there's a Ah Bek with bare-chest wandering on the BLOCK D parking lot, and thus she locks the doors early 7pm ++, I think grandma is also one of the weird people in my list. During a conversation with mom, she always talks alot busybody talks, or even giving some non-logic answers unrelated to the topic.

Grandma is scared of being pointing fingers, so everytime she did something wrong, she either keeps in silent or pointing back fingers at people, yell out loud and acting herself innocent "我有做错MEH？！！", or giving many excuses. Ｓｈｅ　ｅｖｅｎ　ｓｍｏｋｅ　３　ｔｉｍｅｓ　ｗｈｅｎｅｖｅｒ　ｓｈｅ　ｗａｎｔｓ，　ｍａｋｉｎｇ　ｍｅ　ｓｍｅｌｌ　ｌｉｋｅ　ｓｍｏｋｅ．Do you think I would respect elders like her? NOO !! I don't respect all the old folks just because they are elder than me.

There's a new couples just moved in September last year. They live above us. How?

Example, I cook maggie with an egg and sausage. Forget about the sausage... There's an egg left in the refrigerator for ... erm I don't know how long it has been there, properly more than 2 weeks. Then, I look at the new pack of eggs placed on top the oven.

hmm... which one should I take? So I took the one from refrigerator, but is it bad to eat it? I recalled long time ago when I was a kid, I read a 3M magazine, there's an explanation of how to test if the eggs is safe to eat.

So, I take a big bowl , fill with water, and carefully drop the egg into it. The egg floats! It's the BAD one. The reason it floats is because the gasses emitted, the egg spoils, making it boyant. Then I try dropping the new bought egg into it, and it sink like staying  in its eternity. Yea, that's the good one. 

Try it, it's interesting :D

Practices Wouldn't Make Forget

Two days ago, I was cleaning my bookshelf and drawer, and I found something precious, a gift before my secondary school graduation, it was a TaiJi Fan gifted by my club advisor. aahhh~ 

And today, I desperately recalled out from my dusty brain to swing this fan, feeling depressed that I couldn't play the forgotten part. This is the 1st TaiJi Fan I learnt in the assocciation, now I knew what its name is, 52式太极功夫扇。ahh, I got some mistakes... due to long period with no practicing.

 I actually had forgotten how to swing this .... and so I search on Youtube, it's hard to find, because I don't know what the name is.... but finally I found it. I searched further, and found its name actually 56式夕阳美太极功夫扇 (Beauty of Sunset)，aiya no wonder lar..

It never is a long term spending with buddies, get going for tea.

It's a nightmare, but yet memorable as they tried their best to browse clothes for me so to change a bit, erm not a bit, IS full swing my appearance,

Therefore, I followed them to many cloth stores. They didn't know my taste actually, and pick me girly t-shirts, dress, skirts, baby clothes, pregnancy clothes and even some jackets for ballrooms. All I know they laugh so hard. >___> Can't take it anymore, I ran away "aaaaAAhhHHH~~~~~~~~~~~~~"

They looked just like my mom, ESPECIALLY Suan, she's so honest! XD Well, can't help out. Finally, they went to the guy section.

Feeling tired and thirsty, we stopped by for donuts at Warisan. Everyone took out handphones and start taking photos. Before we left, the whole situation was silence.... like everyone don't want to get apart again...

Now that exam finally over, I'm having 1 week holiday only. Grabbing snacks and watch AVATAR in DVD. Sadly, the video quality isn't good, and when subtlte is on, the screen blink... wasted money I guess... no more buying DVD.

The storyline is simple and very good, I like those backgrounds, very realistic and guessing how they create this "NaVi" which look alike human with big body size , long hands and legs and the lip sync movement too. Damn those militaries messing their land. Go To Hell haahaa (damn, I'm human too D:) !!

Time for rest.

What the hell. New year just passed a few days, and people already starting breaking down the peace ?

This is happening in Malaysia, and really is ashamed, is this the "One Malaysia" that Malaysians had all longed for?  Sure PM Najib is very disappointed about this. Hope everyone get this fixed up.

Don't know whether it might happen in Sabah & Sarawak. No offense, I advice you all (Christians) to avoid sticking Christian religion poster, leaving Bible and Cross VISIBLE inside your car in order to prevent more loss, for mostly those live/study/work in Peninsula.

I'm being Neutral here, I had also sent messages through MSN and SMS. If you think your religion is more important than your life, then go ahead ignore me.

New Year 2010

Watching Korean countdown before welcoming their new year at 11: 10pm on KBS Channel, mom was excited.

50minutes left, mom took out the Ferrero Rocher I presented her, and we started enjoying it. And yea, I took mom and grandma to the 新旺 Restaurant to celebrate that noon.

11:59pm, it's our turn.

After that, I celebrated, toasting myself with Shandy, sitting at the balcony, looking high in the sky. I couldn't see firecrackers, but I could hear them. I couldn't see people but I could hear them scream.

Slowly,  Voices of people faded and became quiet. I had survived another year.

ohno... there goes exams welcoming me to New Year, a rainy new year ............gonna be twenty-one this year, a young adult
